Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions form a binding agreement between you and Fresh Compass Grove Kabushiki Kaisha when you use this website or engage our cleaning services.
1. Legal Obligations
- Users agree to use this website and its contact form for genuine enquiries only.
- Submitting false contact details or fraudulent enquiries is not permitted.
- Users must be legally able to enter into a service agreement in their jurisdiction.
2. User Responsibilities
- Users are responsible for providing accurate scope and access information ahead of a scheduled visit.
- Users agree to comply with applicable laws when engaging our services.
- Any third-party access arrangements (building management, site managers) are the user's responsibility to coordinate.
3. Disclaimers and Limitations
- Services are provided on the basis of the scope confirmed prior to a visit; unforeseen site conditions may affect timing.
- Fresh Compass Grove Kabushiki Kaisha's liability for any claim is limited to the value of the service booked.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from delays outside our reasonable control.
- Obligations under these terms may be suspended in the event of circumstances beyond reasonable control, such as extreme weather.
4. Booked Scope and Price
- Each booking is confirmed by email or phone with the service, floor area, site address, date, and price. The prices on our offers page apply to the stated areas: Handover Clean for Renovated Interiors at ¥27,500 for up to 80m² (5–7 hours, team of three), Fine Dust Extraction Visit at ¥16,400 for up to 60m² (single 3-hour visit), and Pre-Photography Preparation at ¥18,900 for up to 100m² (3–4 hours).
- Larger floor areas, additional floors, or exterior areas such as balconies and common corridors are quoted separately before the visit.
- A handover clean includes protective film removal, window rail clearing, and a walk-through with the site manager against the handover checklist. Removal of construction waste beyond offcuts and packaging, such as leftover boards, fixtures, or skips, is the contractor’s responsibility and is not part of the clean.
- If site conditions on arrival differ materially from those described, for example trades still working, wet paint, or heavy debris not mentioned at booking, our team lead will explain the effect on timing or price and agree it with you before continuing.
5. Site Readiness and Access
- Our sequence assumes the build is finished: trades have left, paint and sealants have cured, and power and water are available. If a trade returns after our fine dust stage, dust will settle again and a further visit may be needed.
- The client arranges keys, parking or loading-bay access, and any permission required from building management. Where a building requires notice of work hours or use of a service lift, please tell us at booking.
- A handover or shoot date is a fixed point for many clients. If you need to reschedule, telling us at least two working days ahead lets us reassign the team. Cancellations made later, or visits where the team cannot get in, may be charged at up to half of the booked price.
- If weather or a transport stoppage prevents the team from reaching the site, we will offer the next available date and no cancellation charge applies.
6. Surfaces, Care, and Damage
- Residue removal is matched to the surface underneath, using our residue reference. Where the material of a floor, worktop, or stone feature is unknown, we test an inconspicuous area first and may leave a stubborn mark in place rather than risk the finish; this will be noted at the walk-through.
- Scratches, chips, or stains caused during construction are not caused by cleaning, and we will point out any we find at the walk-through so they can be raised with the relevant trade.
- Damage caused by our team should be reported within seven days of the visit. Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or reasonable replacement of the affected item and stays within the limits in section 3; those limits do not protect us where damage was caused deliberately or through serious carelessness.
- Payment terms are stated in the booking confirmation. For contractors and property managers, an invoice is issued after the walk-through.
7. Legal Information
- These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
- Any dispute will first be addressed through direct discussion between the parties; a matter still open after that is taken to the Tokyo District Court.
- If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
- We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be available on this page.
8. Questions About These Terms
- Questions about a booking or these terms can be raised with Fresh Compass Grove Kabushiki Kaisha, 3-5-17 Chuo, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo 132-0021, by phone on +81 3-3655-2233, or through the contact page. Nothing here limits rights held by individual clients under the Consumer Contract Act.
